Saint Peter Parish Education Endowment Fund …It DOES make a difference
An Endowment fund for Saint Peter Parish is being established to promote Catholic values, education, and student development. An endowment fund is an investment or savings account which generates interest that can be used to fund and ensure the future of an organization. The purpose of the endowment is: 1) to help keep tuition affordable 2) to provide tuition assistance and 3) to reduce dependence on the parish collections.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of $100,000 per year with the ultimate goal of having $1,000,000 in Endowment.
Any gifts to the Endowment Fund are directed as principal to be used in a professionally managed investment portfolio. While the principal will always remain in investment, the earnings and dividends can then be used by the Endowment Fund's Advisory Board to pay for education expenses.
Thus, each gift creates an unending legacy of support for Catholic education at St. Peter Parish.
